Ebb & Flow is a beautiful example of the word collaboration. Starting on a mpc 1000, My good friend and long time collaborator Nobl and I came up with time signature's part by part. Next we wrote chords and played them with juno analog synth's and made a couple different parts. Following those steps, I was able to create with the amazing Coultrain who was living in the bay at the time. He wrote an amazing song called Ebb & Flow and performed it beautifully. Next move, Took the track over to my man Nino Moschella's studio (Bird & Egg) and he laid down some amazing pocket live drums. We took out the original programed drums that Nobl and I originally did. Last but not least, my guy Adam Theis wrote and performed some amazing horn lines that really just brought the track together in my opinion. So a lot went into this track. It was created and intended to be in the ranks of timeless music by all parties involved.
